It’s been a couple weeks now and were back at it! Rob, Brian, and I have all been enjoying the various twists pro wrestling has been giving us this month. And now with a certain People’s Champion back, the road to Wrestlemania becomes even more winding. Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and now The Rock all have a need to have a solid outing at Mania to further or finish their individual stories. So the question is, how?
How does Cody Rhodes get to Wrestlemania 40? Does he finish the story against the Tribal Chief? Does CM Punk finally get his Wrestlemania main event? If so, against who and how does it get resolved? Is the Rock right in his desire to be at the head of the table? Do fans want to see him against Roman Reigns?
We are at an interesting intersection right now. So many different options have been presented that it feels like WWE is in a really good position. With that said, where is AEW in all this? At five years in, how has the company performed? Some would say they have failed to provide growth. Others would state that growth has come in the form of advertising dollars and streaming #s. It’s a slippery slope for a lot of fans but, Tony Kahn has been outspoken on how proud he is of his team. Some, namely Eric Bischoff, aren’t so confident. Regardless of how you see it, it’s definitely polarizing.
Thanks again for all of your continued support of the show. We will be working on updating our live broadcast provider as Spreaker, sadly, no longer supports live streaming. We’ll keep you posted of course, right here at C2CRadioShow.com!
